Driving over from Iowa as I type this. Pumped for tomorrow and hope the crowd has some energy to motivate our guys. I like our chances… if it’s close after the under 12 in the first half the crowd should play a factor the rest of the way.

Anyone else going to be there?!?

I was in Atlanta last weekend. I guarantee that anyone who was there last weekend has PTSD if they also have tickets tomorrow.

Tickets going as low as $34 online, so I'm not optimistic that the crowd factor will be enough to carry the team

even with a few empty balcony seats, that should still be a rocking environment with the likes of KU coming to town, even if students are gone.

If Woodson does a mass substitution at the under 12 timeout, there will be massive boos.

Vegas is thinking a 6 or 7 point game.

Those dumbasses.....amirite?
I agree they know the numbers but my understanding of gambling is that the point spreads are made to increase the number of bets. If not enough money is placed the points shift to increase betting.
But I agree with your point, I am viewing this as a glass half empty and do not see us good enough to stay with top level teams. Hopefully wrong of course. A win might help future confidence and even recruiting.

I’ll be heckling Hunter behind their bench.
I friggn gotta work tomorrow, but I will be driving and watchn the game and Colts game on my phone in BTown! So, if yall see an Amazon van with an IU flag hangin in the window, that’ll be me!

I usually am the kinda person that dislikes the types of crowds at games that are disrespectful, like the ones that say Ef you ref, or IU sucks, or dumb chants like that.

But tomorrows game is different! Kansass is a scum of a program and deserves all the hate and disrespect that comes there way!

So, if you are going to the game or sitting where Cavanagh is, I want to hear your ass on my phone! I want someone to throw a beer bottle/cup, hot dog, dildo, etc in Dickinsons face! I want someone to piss that dbag off and get him kicked out early! Maybe someone can get Kurt Cloverdale a court-side seat and some free beers!? Get him drunk enough, and when he starts talkn his gibberish, get him to go punch Bill Selfs cheatn ass in his face! Then get the crowd to start chanting some serious hateful crap towards Kansass and run those sobs out of town with a loss! Don’t worry If you get arrested, I’ll pitch in to bail you out!

Go Hoosier!!! **** Kansass

Some students. They had the option of adding this game.
If they are local or live close by, they may come to the game. I'm gussing most kids who finished finals on Tuesday or Wednesday will not stick around a dead campus until Saturday for a ball game.

The bars are open!

Seriously. I can think of nothing better than being done with finals and having three days of doing pretty much nothing except hanging out in preparation for a big basketball game.

I'm sure there are a few. But campus was basically empty by Thursday.

If this unlimited transfer thing happens, I'm likely done.
I'd like to see the announcers stop rattling off all of their former schools. It used to be a unique thing, but now it's like "into the game Freddie Fastbux, who played at southern, eastern, and northern before coming here."

Couldn’t get a reservation last night at the farm, Malibu, or uptown because of 1st semester graduation. For sure some older students still here. One last hurrah baby!

You going to the KU game? That debacle last week hurt. I'm not sure I could go again this week. Heck, I'm not sure I can watch!

Fair weather fan!!
I actually give our fans a lot of credit. I think for bball Hoosiers provide a ton of support for a team that hasn't been relevant in a long time, and even then, Tom Crean was our coach. Louisville, for instance, Bozich article said they maybe had 5,000 fans for their home game vs AR State. We had more than that in ATL, and it was a great showing, again! I thought there were more Hoosier fans than Auburn... for another trouncing.

And, I was kidding about watching. I'll definitely watch, but with trepidation. I don't know how our football fans do it though, so kudos to the diehards that have stayed on board there.

Nope. I'm going to watch it on TV and bitch about it in the freeloader chat as God intended.

I'm still pissed about last week. If I had a ticket, I'd probably have to go. Luckily, these tix were too salty, knowing I was dropping coin for the Atlanta trip, to get approval from the head of procurement here at Casa Hooky.

IU football fans are the true believers. Or maybe it's a form of self-flagellation for some.

I can't imagine Assembly Hall vs Kansas...with empty seats? Better not be.

The place was packed. No empty seats, even up top. I believe they announced 17,400-something when we were walking out. Was a great and loud atmosphere. Unfortunate IU couldn’t hold on. KU just with too many alpha closers the last 5 minutes.

What was the tv crew’s response on the review with 18.4 left? Looked pretty clear should have been IU ball unless Ware’s foot was on line before throwing it back in.

They said you couldn't tell for sure if the ball was on the line or not, so they stayed with the original call.

Yep, we have some talent, but just no one to take charge in situations like that. It's a shame because I think it could be Malik, but I don't think he's ever been that guy and he's got to crank it up a notch on D and rebound better, and be vocal, but he's the guy I could see doing it. Of course, probably the best hope is X coming back and being that guy, but I'm not optimistic with this injury on top of last year's injury. And, tip of a hat to the Boilers. I thought AZ would wear them down. Didn't watch (couldn't watch... f'n Peacock) but looked like Braden and Flecther had good games, and I thought AZ would be able to stifle them.

Yep - need a coach who can take charge with the game in the balance going down the last stretch of 6 minutes.

Unfortunately, he’s not on our bench.

Malik could be, but he needs to stop fouling and complaining about everything. Until he can stay on the floor for 30 min on a regular basis and shrug crap off and just get after it, he won't be the leader this team needs.
