RIP Wes Unseld

I grew up about an hour North of Milwaukee. As the Bucks came into the league, for promotion they gave away tickets to high school Basketball Coaches to distribute to their players and Organize a trip to see them play.
This had to be November of 1969, I remember it was right around my Birthday. We got tickets to the Bucks- Bullets game that night at the old Milwaukee Arena.
Unseld was on that team as was Gus Johnson. Johnson was a couple inches shorter and maybe 25 pounds lighter, but still a good 235 or 240. Back in those days they looked like a Couple of Offensive Linemen who got lost on the way to the practice field, but they were both really good Basketball Players.
We were seated high up in the end zone behind one of the Baskets . Johnson came down on a fast break or a steal at full speed wound up for a Windmill Dunk, and shattered the backboard. We had a perfect view of the whole thing and were awestruck. The Bullets demolished the Bucks that night by a score of about 155 to 90.
