My first memory of Tom was with the Big Red Machine. My Grandpa was a huge Reds fan so we would watch a lot of the games over at his house. RIP Mr. Seaver.

The Hall of Famer dropped out of public life after his dementia diagnosis last year.
Thank goodness for the midnight massacre. That let me see him in person way more than if had he stayed with the metropolitans. 40+ complete games with the reds and I got to see 2 of them. My dad took my younger brother and one of his little buddies to their first reds game when he threw the no hitter against the cards. Wish I could have been there for that one.
