Rick Bozich with his thoughts regarding the ongoing Indiana coaching search and Penn State.

I thought Greg Gard was an interesting name. Almost certainly won’t be him but very possibly a name from left field. Although Kent Sterling says they already have their guy which would mean someone not currently coaching.

I'm sticking with Indiana Sports Connection. Hillbilly Monkey makes more sense.
“Carved from the sands of the Wabash River and formed into a monkey man that’s sold at the Home Goods.”

The best part about that whole podcast is his normal announcing voice isn’t a whole lot different than the voice he uses for Hillbilly Monkey. And, he may actually have more inside info than “Locked On Hoosiers” which is frightening in its own right!

Veteran reporter Rick Bozich talks about the Indiana coaching search; are there more names we can eliminate? Probably. Is anyone moving to the front? TJ Otzelberger had his buyout reduced to $4 million. Penn State in town as well.

Come on Jim. I love you, but when the first response is from dbm, it’s bad news. Just start a real post. Tire of all the BS. Please don’t be a Doyle

So you want to hire a 63 year old coach that has spent his whole career in the east and got out of coaching due to NIL changes. No thanks
Make sure you feel the same about these low level guys who have never recruited a top 50 kid, like say, Ben McCollum.

I appreciate the love, but am unclear what you are saying. I cannot control who responds and when. There is also at least a month before this comes to a close. So why not talk about the possibilities? How is that not a "real post" and how is it close to being Doyel?

I know nada about the ins and outs of a coaching search, but that's what I think as well; it's a logical conclusion. If Dolson does, in fact, have his guy locked and loaded--in February--it doesn't make sense that it's a current coach.

While most were psyched about the possibility of Dusty coming to Bloomington, it never made sense to me on several levels. Logic led me to that opinion ... and logic is leading me here. I might very well be wrong, but, imo, it's sound logic.

A random 63-year-old coach is one thing ... a 63-year-old Jay Wright is a completely different ballgame.

A 63-year-old might not make sense to you, but keep in mind that Bennett is 55.

I apologize Jim, but I did not pay enough attention that your post was Rich Bosich thoughts. I did not listen to the broadcast. Then I saw someone respond that Kent Sterling said IU already has their man. I assumed it was more BS from someone trying to just get more crap out. I really do appreciate your insight. Once again, my apologies.
