This is accurate. The arrogance of ND fans is only equaled by "the" o-h-i-o $tate fans and actual ND grads own the legend-in-their-own-mind title...(and it's not a close call).,,

I meet all your criteria & I have NEVER liked, cared, rooted or supported ND football in any way. However, sometime in the future, if ND were to play OSU in fb, for the right price, I would be willing to LEARN how to root for ND in that situation, as I hate OSU even more than I do ND.

That is the one time I root for Purdue, when they
play the Irish. I had Notre Dame hate ingrained in me as a kid and it stuck.

Grandpa hooky wanted me to play for Digger and was the biggest ND fan of all the family. First I left him for Bobby, then I left him for Lee. Broke his heart. Can't do him like that and couldn't root for purdoo anyway.

Looking at the reactions, there's several of those RJ fans "lurking".

Growing up 30 minutes away, I was forced fed the ND Football stuff. Ara Parsegian came to our local HS auditorium and spoke to the Cub Scouts. I was a fan until I started to see the hypocrisy a few years later.

Towards the end of Ara's era, they had an incident involving Ross Browner, Eric Pennick, and a few others with a coed. They did their typical "internal investigation" did not involve law enforcement. In short, it ended up with the AD and the university doing a public slut shaming of the girl. There's a really good book out there called "Under the Tarnished Dome".

I bet I've been to at least 30 games there. I mean their pomp and pageantry is sort of neat. The arrogance that goes along with it is a different story.

Just go over to their board. Lots of posters from here. One thing PU, ND, ISU, Butler fans etc.. don’t realize is they are still Hoosiers. 😉

Agree. I have nothing against them and would root for them over O$U for sure.
