So with Daquon Green and Tuttle transferring that gives us SIX 4 stars this cycle? Anyone else just a little giddy about that? Plus we are still after 5 more. Dayum! GO CTA!!!

I have been a skeptic of the ability of IU to put a winning program together ever since the CKW dismissal. With that said, if these were draft picks, we would certainly spend one on Green. At this point, an argument can be made that he is better than what we have to choose from on the shelf at this point with clearly a very high ceiling ..... CTA and team deserves credit for doing a great job recruiting a side of the ball we all questioned that he could when hired. Kudo’s....
Just as the kid playing for Michigan Basketball who was a five star but road the bench at Kentucky transferred, his production line was not remotely close to what it is for Michigan.... changes in scenery help many. Booth was injured and just didn’t work out. It happens. It doesn’t mean we stop adding those guys when we have the chance.

He played in 2 games as a true freshman which burned his shirt in 2017. This year he played in 3 games mostly on special teams so this year can be used as a redshirt. So what your saying doesn't make much sense as limited as he has been. Coming out of high school ALL the major BIGS were after him including Ohio State and Michigan before he signed at Florida. Say what you will but this is a big get for IU
Has he made it official he is coming? Have not seen that. School has started. Do not think he has enrolled. Do not know what last official day for enrollment is. Guess he could wait till fall.
Florida is a run heavy offense that is also loaded at WR. Florida had 5 WR that were all older and more highly rated than Green, and those 5 WR accounted for 97% of WR catches in 2018.
Another WR that is a year younger, but more highly rated than Green also only caught one pass this year
It appears that next Monday (1/14/19) is the last day to register for Spring (needs Dean Approval) per the Official site...

I don't put a lot of importance on star ratings for recruits . A number of 4 and 5 star recruits never improve after high school and wash out or become problems in the program or disgruntled transfers with limited production. On the other hand, there are 2 and 3 Star recruits who improve and eventually become All Conference or All Americans.
Take Wisconsin as an example. They are noted for producing great Offensive Linemen. These kids don't come in as 4 and 5 Star recruits but they buy into the system and constantly improve and a number of them end up as NFL draft choices. Dave Edwards is a great example. He was high school quarterback who was targeted to become a tight end or linebacker in college. However due to his height, they put weight on him and he became an All American Lineman (Last Year, Plagued by a recurring injury this year). However it appears that he will be a 2nd or third round NFL draft pick.

Unless David Kelly retires, or gets waylaid by cartel members I highly doubt Taggert will dump him for Heard...
