Please name the McD's who played on the two teams that played for the National Championship last year. Those were dedicated team players playing in a system demanding maximum basketball intellect, discipline and effort. They did not have the best players in the country. They were the best TEAMS.

How many burger boys are playing in the B10 right now? Just curious. I know we have one. And we had one last year.

Looks like Miller got one in each of his first two real recruiting classes. Looks on par with what Knight did. Recruiting is a problem but there are other issues that concern me more. Development would be at the top of my list.

Getting McDonald's AA to stay more than one year is the deal. Zeek, Tolbert and Turner were all MAA's on the 81 team and were all in different recruiting classes but played together. Zeek (Isaiah Thomas) was the only one to leave early and Turner got hurt but would have played 4.
The teams killing it today get multiple MAA's in one class. It's a big difference and we haven't done that.
Truth is we can't shoot. We play hard and play good D (for the most part) but we can't shoot.
Go Hoosiers!

Can't shoot cause there's no offense. End of story.

Forget about Star Ratings and High School Honors. If you are the High School Highlight Film but can't make 47% from the floor, 40% from three point range and make 75% of your free throws (particularly if you are a guard), you aren't helping us. There are guys without that pedigree who can shoot effectively.

Let's just hope IU wins tomorrow night so this douchenozzle goes back into fetal position sucking his thumb for a couple of days.

So Archie Miller recruited 2 in 2 years. According to your own post, Knight did better than that in a 2-year span twice. He got a total of 3 in 1977 and 1978, and again got a total of 3 in 1988 and 1989. If you want to re-use the same guys, I'll give you 1989 and 1990.

In closing, you're dumb as hell.

Knight also went to just one Sweet Sixteen in his last 15 years -- and that was at Texas Tech.
If you're counting his last 15 years of coaching he went to an elite eights and two sweet sixteens at IU in that span.

back in the day, if you got one 5 star a yr, you could have five 5 stars starting for you.

now days if you get one 5 star a yr, you have one starting, he's only a freshman, and the other four have already left.

so either you get multiple 5 stars every yr, or get a lot of really good non 5 stars who are just bad enough to not be 1st round NBA draft projections till they're seniors.

i've lived through the virtually everybody plays 4 yrs era, and the top HS players go pro straight from HS era.

the one and done era we're now in, is the worst of the three.

Two best coaches in the game? Lol. I love both of those guys, but you say that like it’s so obvious. It’s not.

Oops! The only people that post lil arch messages are Purdue fans! I’ve never seen an IU fan say that! IU won where Purdue couldn’t! But that’s cool lil bro
