On the Tyus Flakes deal, this is a case of after him visiting this weekend both sides decided it would be best to part ways. I think he wants to be closer to home, and IU didn't feel like he fit in well with the team. What it means is the staff will be looking to add another RB before signing day, and depending on what happens with Howard, two more is not out of the question. Two could be a possibility even if Howard returns, but not sure how likely that is. One name who is a target is Trey Ragas from Archbishop Shaw H.S. in Marrero, Louisiana. Coach McCullough visited with him last week. I am sure another name or two will pop-up.
Juco QB Richard Lagow told that he plans on making his announcement today around 3 or 4. I would assume that is 3 or 4 his time which is around 4 or 5 Indiana time.
I think the best bet for the next commit other than Lagow is probably Ian Thomas. I wouldn't be surprised to see him pull the trigger at some point this week.
