The big moment with runner on 1st no outs for UL, a swinging bunt down 3rd base line and cangi had to "eat" the throw. A young fielder typically tries to make a play at first and a throwing error occurs, allowing runners to advance to 3rd and 2nd. Not making the throw left them at 2nd and 1st no outs, Harrison Ks the next 2 and we end up getting out of the inning with no damage. Huge defensive moment. You have to make the right plays, even when the play is to do nothing. The pitching was outstanding today, for both teams as well. Great response today, Tough series with Iowa this weekend.

My guess is pretty much everybody on the bench was yelling HOLD IT! as loud as they could after Sunday's follies. Love all 4 pitchers today. The frosh is nails. The upperclassmen are great leaders.
