My caveat --- is that it would be the first time in human history that any changing of the guards would involve weapons that can actually obliterate the world within minutes.

There are a number of other unprecedented factors, the info age, AI and others.

More likely it will be economic/technological/propaganda warfare.

Let's hope so. The best solution is to work together and find win-win solutions. In a nuclear age, zero-sum game only leads to a total annihilation of our civilisation.

And that's the upside of Trump – that is, if he can hold back his neocons/hawks within his cabinet.

He understands that it's pointless accumulating all that personal wealth/his global financial empire if the world blows up to smithereens.
