Whoaaa . . . IU lost virtually all of its production from last year, has tons of frosh who've never seen a competitive college minute and it's ranked No. 2? That's not a rebuild, that's a reload . . . .
What am I missing?
Soccer rankings have always been like this-teams are ranked based largely on how they finished last season. Hence, Maryland is #1 preseason because they won it all last year. There's very little that goes into these rankings-unlike football and basketball.
