1. Wilson gets my respect because he makes NO excuses
2. Wilson's play calling drives me nuts at times
3. These players play as hard and compete as well as any at IU in my 40 years observing
4. We have average talent on defense but way below average results...looks like to this observer that most of the results are due to coaching....we have guys confused and multiple players covering the same area over and over and over....linebackers within a yard of each other at the snap doesn't make sense to me
5. Game management at winning time has cost us 3 games...Rutgers... Michigan and Duke....should be bowl champs and 9-4...just killing the clock and running the ball would've won those 3
6. Despite the tremendous stats from Nate.....I still think his lack of vision, decesion making and running ability has hurt us....hope Lagow is better in those areas...nit picking but frustrating in winning time
Despite these failures this has been the most fun season since the days of AT.....extend Wilson....pay raise assts.....recruit better players overall.....future is bright
