Well it has happened, I have gotten excited for the upcoming year. I have done my best to limit my enthusiasm but listening to him has me pumped up about the potential of our DL.

I liked the thought that he's making them better pass rushers... If we can get pressure on their QB with our DL, good things will happen (for us in the secondary) more often than not...

One of the things I like are the freshmen that are working so hard to play this year. IU can use the depth to keep the DL fresh all season and get pressure on the QB. I hope with a "master at pass rush" as Head called coach Randolph, IU develops a pass rush with their front four.
Have always felt big part of coaching DL is to instill infectious aggression. Break down opposing OL mental toughness and determination to own the LOS.

Elliot ready to line up at DE (v. anticipated runs), and
Tevis lining up at DT (to rush an anticipated pass),
will make the DL charges more unpredictable.
More importantly it keeps DL rotations in play, when someone rolls an ankle.
