Well hopefully he comes back and can be the main guy down low cause we need somebody badly up front for next season. Woodson needs to do the world's bese sales job to get him back.
If Race gets his 3pt shooting percentage up he's a legit draft pick. He has those aspirations, so I wouldnt bet against it. Trayce needs another season too. We could be much improved if they both return. It's not that far-fetched. Who among us predicted Kofi would return for a senior campaign? Garza?
I think CMW already played that card with Race last summer (holy shit...did I just use the words "race" and "card" in a sentence and not stir up any trouble? how bout that??)
Would love to see Race back. Would be stunned if I do. He could be our Jess Settles.

You are delusional. If he was a knock down, you can't ever leave him open for a second kind of 3 point shooter then maybe he gets drafted but he isn't even close to that. Not even close.

Race will do more in the NBA than TJD, not saying he is a star or close but he will be in the NBA longer. That said another yr would be good for him but yr 6?

Last game they said Race entertained the thought of playing football after his basketball career is over. He would be an interesting experiment at TE.
He and TJD are both 4’s. Race imo is actually closer to being an NBA 4 than TJD. Having said that, unless he can up his 3 point % to 35%+ it is difficult to see him as a NBA player at the 4. What Race does have working for him is rebounding, passing, ball handling, and defense. He will not blow you away with any of that but they are all sufficient for the next level. His toughness even separates himself from others even more. If he does somehow becomes a willing 3 point shooter who shoots it at a 35%+ clip he would almost certainly go to the NBA.
My opinion is that he would need another year to show that though. Even if he shoots more and well the last 5ish games this year, it just not been shown enough yet.
