Strong rumors that IU athletic administration was so upset about the IU Sucks chant that they approached the Big Ten requesting that Purdue put a stop to it or face some kind of sanction from the conference.

PU on the other hand has tried to stop it because it makes your fan base look so bad...Porkchop has tried twice and failed. The AD even tried to replace it with Cancer sucks during the Tyler Trent ordeal; I think that lasted three kickoffs before your all-consuming obsession ruled the day.

But it’s a regular topic here and among IU fans in general and IU fans mention it often when they post at GBI. Sounds like there’s definitely something to the rumors since it’s such a big deal to Hoosier fans, not a bad thing that Purdue is working to eliminate it, especially after the conference asked them too due to how upsetting it has become to Hoosier fans. Would be nice if it’s gone permanently, not worth all the angst it generates.
It is regularly laughed at, and I assure you no one wants you embittered sheep nailers to stop. The conference has not tried to stop it...your own AD and Porkchop have tried because unlike you gap-tooth inbreds they actually see how terrible it makes you look.

They pushed to stop it when the conference “asked” them to, and that was because IU complained to the Big Ten because it’s become such a big topic with IU fans. Personally I’m glad they’re shutting it down, it was detracting from the rivalry because IU fans were so upset about it, gto move on from it since it’s such a big deal now.
