I agree as I see in 1 year from now, Bates will start and probably be a top 3 scorer on the team. I just feel for the first exhibition game, he will be where he is at.

Watching Smith last year play to his strengths with more transition opportunities, becoming a second team all SEC and considered the soul of that Arkansas team....did not look well on Archie.

My hope is we see that kind of difference with our team to the point that even you have to admit that Rob isn't junk. Lol

As Gradman said, our roster has been greatly upgraded from what we thought we were going to having going into year 5 of Archie. That alone is reason for optimism.

I'll give Al credit, he stuck it out and played hard. He committed to CTC but still came to IU after CTC got canned. Never did question his effort and he was the only one who turned into a good FT shooter. That said, with the additions for next year, I do not think we'll struggle to replace his output. Hope he has a good 5th year and also hope IU bounces back in a big way next yr. Win/Win for AD and IU. As for CAM.....let's just turn the page and move on.
