1-bid each (19)[/B]:
America East (Albany)
Atlantic Sun (North Florida)
Big Sky (EWU)
Big South (Coastal Carolina)
Big West (UC Irvine)
Colonial (Northeastern)
Horizon (Valpo)
Ivy (Yale)
MAAC (Manhattan) - Iona beaten Monday by Manhattan means they have a disappointing end at 26-8
MEAC (North Carolina Central) 16-0 in the conference without any signature wins. They had better win their tourney
Northeast (St. Francis Robert Morris)
Ohio Valley (Belmont) Murray State is not a bubble team despite 27-5 and 16-0 in their conference. Their best win is vs. Illinois State who is not a tourney team. Put someone on your schedule!
Patriot (Bucknell)
Southern (Wofford)
Southland (Stephen F. Austin) They could be a bubble team if they lose to Sam Houston St in the final. They didn't play anyone but only lost one game after November
SWAC (Texas Southern) Rest assured, they will be in IU's bracket
Summit (North Dakota St.)
Sun Belt (Georgia St. )
WAC (New Mexico St.) They've won a ton in a row after losing to all the good teams they played. Better win their tourney

Multi-Bid (47)[/B]
American: (4) SMU, Tulsa, Cincinnati, Temple
A-10: (3-4) Davidson, Dayton, VCU, Richmond-bubble
ACC: (7) UVA, Duke, ND, Louisville, UNC, NC State, Miami
Big-12: (5-7) Kansas, ISU, OU, WVU, Baylor - gets very interesting with both Texas and OSU on the bubble. State could get in perhaps with a bit of noise in the Big 12 tourney. Texas is a close call.
Big East: (5-6) Villanova, Butler, Providence, GU, St. John's. Xavier is a bubble team. Probably in with a win over Butler.
Big Ten: (6-7) Wisconsin, Maryland, OSU, MSU, Iowa, Purdue. Indiana is on the bubble thanks to their collapse. Still look favorable against teams like Richmond and Miami
C-USA: (2) Louisiana-Tech, Old Dominion. UTEP could become a bubble team but right now, I'd say they are not in.
MAC: (1-2) Buffalo, Bowling Green and Central Michigan both could potentially get a 2nd bid depending on how it goes.
MVC: (2) Northern Iowa, Wichita St.
Mountain West: (2) San Diego St., Boise St. Colorado State is 26-5 but they are 2-2 against SDSU and BSU and no other signature wins. I don't think it's enough. The committee often rewards for tough schedules.
PAC-12 (4) UA, Utah, Oregon, UCLA- The Bruins are potentially a bubble team, but I'd say they are in right now
SEC (4) UK, Arkansas, LSU, Texas A&M. UGA is a sort of a bubble team but they haven't beaten anyone yet. I'd say they are out right now.
WCC (2) Gonzaga, BYU - BYU has won 8 of their last 9 including 1 of 2 against Gonzaga. And they had a tough schedule. Not a bubble team. In fact, St. Mary's was almost a bubble team had they beaten Portland.

66 of the 68 teams. The bubble teams are Richmond, Texas, Oklahoma St, Xavier, Indiana. Anyone else is circumstantial.
[/B]
From this short list, 3 are going home. Richmond is one of the weaker ones with an RPI @ 53 and their only good wins being Davidson and 2 wins over VCU. Yet 12-6 is respectable in their conference if none of the other bubble teams can add to their resume. So from IU's perspective, that basically means we need two of those other 3 to lose right away in their conference tournaments. Xavier plays Butler so that is a big one for IU although Xavier looks pretty good from an RPI standpoint and could get in anyway. Texas lost 4 of 5 to close the season against ranked teams. But they play a winnable game against Texas Tech. OK St. played a murderous 9 ranked teams in their last 12 (including the next one against Oklahoma) but they lost 5 of the last 6. A loss to OU and they are out!

So their it is- Butler needs to beat Xavier convincingly and OU needs to beat Oklahoma St. If Texas loses, then Xavier may make it in along with IU. Texas may need to win a couple in the Big 12 tourney to get in. Indiana probably only needs to show they can win a game at all anymore.
