Potholes

I've had 4 flat tires in the last year due to potholes and thought I had a 5th on 465/65 split last week. It's horrible.

It's terrible. Was a very bad winter for the roads....way too many days close to freezing temps. That's nobodies fault.....But the resurfacing budget needed in Indy is exponentially larger than city budgets will ever allow. The numbers aren't even close.....most cities cannot come close.. the "old" cities are literally falling apart from a road/sidewalk perspective.

Here's some more bad infrastructure for you - the Patent Office's electronic filing systems have been down for three days now. Patent examiners cannot send out actions on any applications and applicants have to resort to mail, fax or hand delivery to file anything. It's been a real nightmare for many patent attorneys, and the only word out of the Patent Office is that "we're working on it."

This routinely happens to the visa application system as well. There was a few days outage a cpl weeks ago, where some peoples applications expired and stuff because the payment system was down.

@INRanger27 you know the oldest trick in the CIS corruption playbook? Really shoddy repair of potholes/roads so they don't last long and require continuous maintence. They are famous for this.

Did you know that if you are delinquent in employment/payroll taxes for the state of Michigan, it takes them over a year to notice? If it takes that long for them to notice, you can imagine how much longer it takes when you try and resolve any delinquent issues and settle your balance.

If you are all about personal responsibility, how did you let yourself become deliquent? ;)
