Positive: 11-3 w 18+ games to go

But but, our Wisconsin loss is looking a lot better after they beat Ohio state. Maybe Maryland can beat some really good teams to make this loss look better.

I don't see us winning 20 after today.

Considering 7 of our 11 wins were basically exhibition games, I’m not sure 20 would even do the trick. Those “wins” won’t help our case.

That said, it wouldn’t surprise me in the least if we don’t win 9 more games. We’re just not a very good team — and I don’t see signs of improvement.

We’re not good until we win on the road in the B1G. When we do, will u be happy

Actually I take that back, we might beat Northwestern at home.

Lol. If we can beat Nebraska we can beat NW

and

Purdue
MSU
OSU
Wisky
Minny
Rutgers
PSU
Mich
Iowa
Maryland
etc

oh wait, just like all but ONE team has Won on the road so far in the B1G!

Road teams cannot win

Might want to adjust your low projections for IU, even as a “faithful” IU fan

I think you were trying to say only 1 team has won on the road in conference (you actually said the opposite). That isn't correct, the number is now at least 2 teams have since Wisconsin recently won at OSU. I know MSU won at Northwestern in December. I haven't seen all the B1G scores from the past couple of days so there might be more that I'm unaware of.

Yes, winning on the road in the B1G is difficult but far from impossible. The way IU is playing now they'll not only have a hard time winning on the road but they'll probably not go undefeated at home in conference play.

Oops Yes thanks meant only one team had won on the road, until Wisconsin won over OSU (huge win for them!)

damn tough to win on the road

Especially when you have a coach who’s never had a top 30 offense including his so called great years at Dayton, and who frankly is worse at coaching offense than Crean was coaching defense, it’s pathetic.

I’d answer this way: we beat MSU twice last year, including once in Ann Arbor. Does that mean last season was a successful one and that nobody should’ve been complaining?

We all know what genuine success looks like, despite it being a while since we’ve experienced it. Winning a game here and there, even a game we’re not supposed to, doesn’t quite clear the bar.

Exactly, Evansville beat Kentucky in Lexington case in point

I hope we are not on another January and February losing streak

Where are the wins except vs Northwestern?
That is not a guaranteed win, they hung with Sparty, run an offense and have always given Archie trouble, in fact Archie lost to Northwestern when he was coaching those powerhouse Dayton teams.
