i hear on the media that a vaccine is the solution to all this.

only problem is, there is no vaccine, no one can say when there will be one, some vaccines such as for flu have very sketchy track records, and good luck getting everyone vaccinated when there will be zero track record of even short term, let alone long term, complications, and getting everyone to be a guinea pig to have the virus injected into them.

that said, we absolutely should be working on one 24/7 no doubt.

that said, not a huge fan of putting all my eggs in a non existent basket.

on the other hand, apparently there is a blood test one can take to see if they have already been exposed and have already developed the second stage of antibodies.

seems like a no brainer that we should start blood testing literally everyone immediately if not sooner to get a handle on the data of exactly where do we stand as a whole, as to what percent of us have already been exposed and developed the 2nd stage of antibodies.

then we will at least know where we currently stand, because we can't plan going forward with no idea where we currently are, how fast we are currently going in any direction, or where we have already been.

secondly, we also absolutely need to know where everybody stands as an individual as well, so we know who is good to re enter society immediately, (or after X number of days), to man the hospitals and groceries and service economy etc, and become the shoppers and helpers for those who haven't yet been exposed who are at risk. (thus why everyone needs tested, and not just random sampling).

this is way more important than testing for who currently has it imo. (not that we don't need that too).

with all the money being thrown around, hire and train an army, as many as we can get, of lower risk young healthy people in every community for a war footing drive by Rosie the blood tester to draw blood, and another army to do the lab work and record keeping logistics.

govt solves unemployment by putting everyone to work, (especially when govt is already paying them anyway), and we solve opening up society again by first knowing exactly where we stand, both individually and as a group.

if we aren't currently planing to start doing this on a massive nationwide/worldwide scale tomorrow, then we are failing as a nation/world on a massive scale today.

meanwhile, we can also big time fund development of a vaccine as well.

other than our current healthcare workers, (and grocery too to a lessor degree), so far as a nation our leaders have been all talk no action.

start with some action NOW, especially since we are already paying for it, and there is no shortage of as much manpower as needed.

start scaling everything up tomorrow.

if we have no capacity to manufacture anything or everything needed, and can't readily acquire it elsewhere, start building and scaling that tomorrow.

sick of all the politicians complaining all day everyday about what they want and don't have, but doing nothing to make it happen.

we know what needs done, we're already funding it, and we have the manpower to do it.

what we also do, is announce tomorrow that we are holding a world wide contest for the first person/company to come up with a scalable and usable home antibodies test that doesn't need sent to a lab, with a 100 billion dollar first prize and all property rights belonging to the world as a whole. (get the rest of the world to buy in, and make it 500 billion).

what are we waiting for??
