If I played for Michigan i would have been planning that well in advance and I’d have had a buddy on the bench with my phone charged with getting a selfie of me planting it. Then it’d be on my office wall. ForeverThat’s a zero class move. Will get more coverage than a great win.
Meh. Not the first time. Other teams do it too for big rivalry wins.If I played for Michigan i would have been planning that well in advance and I’d have had a buddy on the bench with my phone charged with getting a selfie of me planting it. Then it’d be on my office wall. Forever
Ohio state and its fans are the Fing worst. Stick it to them. Plant that flagMeh. Not the first time. Other teams do it too for big rivalry wins.
Damn straightOhio state and its fans are the Fing worst. Stick it to them. Plant that flag
The ball knows. Karma for last week. Karma for tearing down a goal post at IU after clinching a Rose Bowl berth in 1996.Ohio state and its fans are the Fing worst. Stick it to them. Plant that flag
I think not. I’ve been to five OSU-Michigan games, four IU-PU games and three UofL-UK games and never saw anyone attempt it. It’s exceedingly rare. The only time I recall ever seeing it was Baker Mayfield doing it when Oklahoma beat OSU. It’s a classless move guaranteed to start a fight with possible suspensions. If I was the Michigan coach I’d chew that players ass to make the point my team isn’t classless - and we beat their asses on the field where it’s supposed to happen.Meh. Not the first time. Other teams do it too for big rivalry wins.
It is but f-ck Ohio st. They have zero room to complain about sportsmanship. That’s a zero class move. Will get more coverage than a great win.
You betThe ball knows. Karma for last week. Karma for tearing down a goal post at IU after clinching a Rose Bowl berth in 1996.
I fvcking hate Ohio State. Classless jerks, every last one of them.
Piss on ‘em.
So bad sportsmanship trumps bad sportsmanship? Bad sportsmanship IS bad sportsmanship, period. It is but f-ck Ohio st. They have zero room to complain about sportsmanship.
F*** em I agree. But they did give us RMK and JD.The ball knows. Karma for last week. Karma for tearing down a goal post at IU after clinching a Rose Bowl berth in 1996.

And apparently the osu band acted out a bear taking a dump on the Michigan flag.2022
Edit.
Texas did it when they beat OU and BSker Mayfield
It might be a classless move but who cares when idiots do a dance every time they make a tackle
We agree it’s classless and rare.2022

Not as classless as the Nebraska team captains refusing the pre-game handshake. That was bad.We agree it’s classless and rare.
Every time I watch a Colts play (very little) and a player jumps up and starts dancing when he makes a tackle after the opposition has gained 10 yards I think what are you dancing about. They act like they've never made a tackle before. It might be a classless move but who cares when idiots do a dance every time they make a tackle

TD celebrations are permitted as part of the game now as long as there is no taunting. Taunting is a penalty. Planting the flag is taunting on steroids. Totally classless too.Not as classless as the Nebraska team captains refusing the pre-game handshake. That was bad.
I consider the flag stunt the same as a touchdown dance.
