I am not a defensive coordinator. I'm a guy with a Mac Book. Obviously personnel has been signed in the last two classes to play a 3/4 for Coach Knorr. With the 4-2-5 defense, IU is probably looking to move guys to END and whatever the new designation is going to be.
I can see the following moves:
Brandon Wilson, Greg Gooch and Nile Sykes to Weakside DE Wilson perhaps running with Robinson at strong side end. I can see Joe Belden playing weak side end as I doubt he can ever put on enough weight to play tackle.
A big key will be what they do with the Will linebackers. What position will they play? IU would appear to have a glut of inside guys and few guys to play the new "hybrid" guy. Perhaps LB's during run downs and essentially a "nickel" situations play DB's.
It will be interesting to see how it works out.
