Penn State opens as 8 point favorites

I've got to think that the line will move drastically if Howard and Sudfeld play. I'm thinking the line should be PSU -3.5. If we score four touchdowns we will win, and we very rarely do not score 28. With our stars, I think we will win 27-20.

From the PSU perspective ..... this line surprised me (line too big).

Honestly, I thought this game would be off-the-board for awhile. Wait for some more clarity on the IU injuries.

One thing on the relatively big number --- the odds-makers likely remember last year's game. The PSU D showed itself fully capable of completely stuffing an IU offense that doesn't have Sudfeld.

I would expect it to move down somewhat. It was not only that we did not have Sudfeld last year but that we had one WR that could actually run a route and make a catch. Those freshman that we had last year are a year older as is Diamont. Everyone shut us down last year so I wouldn't get too comfortable. I don't think that happens this year even if Sudfeld is out.
