The house in Sag Harbor (NY) mentioned by Nash in the clip was where most of the songs on the CSN album were written and rehearsed. Among them "Our House" (which Graham wrote about Joni Mitchell) as well as Lady of the Island (also about Joni). And in a bizarre twist Crosby's "Guinevere", which was about his feelings for Joni as well...

Besides both Crosby and Nash, Joni also had relationships (and wrote songs about) other superstars, including Leonard Cohen, James Taylor and Jackson Browne. The entire Blue album deals with her breakup with Nash, but "Case of You" is reportedly about (fellow Canadian) Cohen...



On For The Roses Joni wrote about her breakup with James Taylor, with assistance from members of CSN. Stills plays guitar on "Blonde In The Bleachers" which deals with the loneliness of a life in R&R...Love this song
