Peacock Network?

Irrelevant. NBC will not get an additional amount out of me, only what they are getting from the sports bar already. It's not about how much I spend, it's the point of it. And, besides, I go to sports bars a lot already, it's pretty much my main form of entertainment.
Are you certain that said sports bar will have Peacock?

I'm going to bite the bullet and pay for Peacock. I haven't done it in the past on the principle of double paying, but I'm not going to bite off my own nose to spite my face. With several MBB and WBB games on as well, I figure I will get my money's worth. Life's too short to rob myself of the enjoyment of a once-in-a-lifetime football season.

Don is my choice. Although there is an option as there is little country tavern I know that will have it.
Waiting for the day when BTN is irrelevant so I can drop their package and pick up 🦚.
What is Liverpool mentioned above a couple of times?

Nice! Why are you yelling at us? 🙂

I already have Peacock, but just in case the cable goes out, I'm not taking any chances. I'm going to lovely East Lancing, Meatchicken to watch the game in person. You can't be to safe. Go Hoosiers!
I had a side gig for DraftKings delivering coasters, posters, table tents and that sort of stuff for a few years to college towns around the Midwest. I was pleasantly surprised to find East Lansing a pretty cool place. Actually liked it better than Ann Arbor.

No more ponies in the stable...

I can't justify paying extra for a sports channel while I'm still paying astronomical medical bills (3 years of various types of Chemo & T cell therapy plus multiple weeks in the hospital [off and on]... I'm evidently paying for myself and a 100 other people who can't afford to pay anything (got a bill breakdown recently that had over a $1000 charge for "Recovery Room" where all they did was pull out an IV and put a bandaid on me)...

Digging out slowly but surely (I figure there's got to be a Pony down there somewhere) but spending any found disposable income on something I've theoretically already paid for once isn't happening...

I do, however, appreciate the fact that I'm very blessed to still be able to type these types of complaints (which makes the bills palatable)...
I didn't realize you were going through all that. I can relate, my brother. Keep keeping on. With your attitude, you'll be back on top soon.

If I was in Indiana, I'd offer to have you over to watch (assuming you live in Indiana). This game is one of the few games I'll watch on TV this year and I'm looking forward to listening to Don and Buck on the radio while watching on TV.

Liverpool are an English soccer team from the city that birthed the Beatles. All the EPL matches that don't make TV, which is like 75-80% of them, you have to stream. As a Liverpool fan I have Peacock for the additional league matches. Then I have Paramount+ for their Champion's League and Carabao Cup matches. I have ESPN+ to watch their FA Cup matches. American throwball fans got a taste of having to add streaming apps to watch games recently, but I've been doing it this way for years. Before streaming I paid for Fox Soccer Plus and Setanta Sports, then eventually for Fubo TV, just to watch their matches. It's been a labor of love for sure

I still have Fox Soccer Plus on DirectTV, but it sucks. Non-HD Mexican and Canadian league games is about it. Blows.

Upstairs Pub and Uptown will get about any game you want, soccer-wise.

I got the same Black Friday deal. I'm gonna cancel mine and see if they'll throw a discount to come back/stay. It works every year for SiriusXM, so fingers crossed!!
Maybe I should try that ... I think my expiration dates is in between games. Thanks for the brain cell shake for the great idea.

Thanks, that answered my Q. Being a 0 soccer fan you can understand the relevance of my inquiry. Appreciate it.

Radio (if I can bring it in successfully)... Haven't listened to Fisch and Buck yet this year so it should be interesting... I'm not double paying for a game I ought to be able to get on The Big Ten Network (on an overflow channel if they've double booked the time slot)...
Is Buck back? I saw someone else mention this. Rhett was good but not entertaining, like Buck. Until this year, IU football needed some fun and levity, which Buck added.

It's my understanding that Buck is indeed back...

I'm glad he's getting to watch this and be a part of it from up in the booth...

I'm looking forward to listening to him this Saturday...

Hits home. If I get peacock again I’ll message you the login.

Against interest (don't know about possible bandwidth issues with increased numbers logging on to streams), I'll note the following.
Here in Japan, while listening on the Varsity app to Don and Buck, I use one of the many free streaming sites aggregated at one of the sites listed below to watch the game, typically with about a 20-second delay behind the radio broadcast.
sportshub.stream
sportsurge.net

I’m going to the game. This is historic stuff for any IU football fan. If within 300 miles and on the fence, just do it!!! I expect a great IU showing. MSU is probably my favorite conference road trip. Usually enough tickets available that you don’t have to pay too much. Their fans aren’t jerks. Have had very good conversations with them in the past.

Forget 🦚!! Come join the fun in EL!!

When I tried to sign up for Peacock and download my computer browser wouldn't support it (i'm still in the Dark ages with Windows 7). I'm not computer savvy enough to change my browser. So I wanted to settle for the streaming radio broadcast. When I went to Indiana University Football Network and got directed to a site called Tune In and signed up for their service. They offer a 7 day free trial, and then it is $9.99 per month or 79.99 if paid annually. I tested it out with my Computer. Obviously nothing streaming right now on IU platform. but I went to the other offerings on their site- music, radio stations, etc. It worked with my speakers and I was getting sound.
Wonder if anyone else has used the site for the football broadcasts and whether it is reliable. I assume there will be no content streamed until the Pre Game Show starts. thanks for helping an Old Fart Computer Illiterate.

I've not used tunein for a few years, but when I did, it started streaming as soon as Fisch went on the air with pregame.

Hoosiers Country 105 in Bloomington will let you listen online too. The play button is on the bottom of the screen.

Make sure you cancel. There's better ways to spend $80 in my opinion.
