Tony lead an interesting life. He was in the mob life for a while. Glad he turned it around. Doesn't it seem like we have had a lot of deaths lately of highly publicized people?
Said he was in Goodfellas too, but I don't remember who his character was: Tony Stacks? I do remember "Stacks" who was a black guy that helped in the big airport heist and was then killed. Surprisingly, that was Samuel L Jackson.

I love that movie. Tony Stacks was mostly on the cutting room floor. I think you only see him at the beginning, and then only in the scenes when young Henry gets out of jail for the first time and the wedding scene.

i never watched Sopranos, but I know Goodfellas pretty well and didn't recognize him as a main character. At first I was guessing the guy who asked Tommy if he got his shine box!

That's the scene that finally sent my wife into another room the first time she watched it. It was touch and go when Henry pistol whipped Karen's neighbor, but now she knows when to close her eyes and plug her ears.

Hmm, that brings up an interesting question: most gory/gruesome seem that actually bothered you? The chainsaw scene in Scarface was tough. One that someone shared with his passing recently, that might still be my #1 was the hobbling scene from Misery.

I don't watch a lot of gory movies like Texas chainsaw massacre or Saw, but there's one that gave a nightmare going on a month. Bone Tomahawk with Kurt Russell. They've been captured by a cannibal tribe and are in a cage. A guy is pulled out in front of everyone, scalped, has a wooden stake driven through his throat and is then split in half at the crotch with a tomahawk. Guy's screaming in pain the whole time and Russell's character is trying to talk him through it by saying the cavalry is on the way and all of the savages will pay for what they're doing.

I'll have unsettled sleep tonight for thinking of it again.

Yeah, I don't get into the gore movies either, so I was only thinking of suspense types. In your movie I bet the cavalry did arrive in time to save the guy... if the guy is Kurt Russell!

The trailer had us thinking Cowboys & Indians with an updated look at the genre. We should have read the plot description instead. LOL

In the dying days of the old west, an elderly sheriff and his posse set out to rescue their town's doctor from cannibalistic cave dwellers.

I have no idea if the Calvary got old Kurt in time or not. I stopped watching after the scene I described. I'm very delicate.

I still can't look at Kathy Bates without wanting to hit her in the head with a typewriter...
