People will hate it, but Matt Painter is a good coach. He can’t recruit but he gets everything out of his guys and they improve over their four years.
Matt Painter at a Kansas, Duke, UNC would be tough to beat. Thank god he’s only at Purdue. Sweet 16 is the ceiling there unless lightning strikes twice and he has another player go absolutely unconscious during the tourney.
That crap show line up will probably make the NCAA. Any they’ll return everyone next year.

They made the elite 8 only because Edwards was unconscious. Otherwise that team was another 2nd round bust or Sweet 16 choke job.
Actually, it was Ryan Cline that shot them into the E8 game. He got hot against Tennessee.
I don’t think it works to say “they only won because one of their players went off”. I mean almost every win at that level in the NCAA is pretty much hinged on the players on one team “going off” more than the players on the other team.
