Other games worth watching today…

This is literally the first Saturday all year where I'm taking the whole day to watch College Football. I got wings, nachos and taquitos...and Christmas Tree Cakes lol. I'm very excite.

12:00
I'm watching Ohio State - Michigan, monitoring the Clemson - South Carolina score. I'll switch to the latter of the former gets out of hand.

3:30
I'll start with Notre Dame - USC. I live in Alabama so I'll flip over to Alabama - Auburn. I want to watch at least a little of Arizona - Arizona State. I'll watch the Miami - Syracuse score but I doubt I'll actually watch much of the game.

7:00
Obviously I'm watching the Bucket from start to finish, even if the Hoosiers win 79-0. I'll check the Texas - A&M score (Hook 'em) and the Florida - Florida State score. I guess I'll check the Iowa State - Kansas State game because I hope Iowa State loses lol. How do you lose two conference games in a row and still have a chance to play in the championship game?

Battles for Bowl Eligibility (Both teams are 5-6):
Virginia - Virginia Tech
Western Michigan - Eastern Michigan

Looking for 6th win:
Appalachian State
Auburn
Cincinnati
Coastal Carolina
Kansas
Louisiana Monroe
Michigan State
New Mexico
Oregon State
North Texas

The way Michigan’s defense is shutting down O$U’s offense makes me feel better about IU’s performance against them.

Could care less to watch the Mich/O$U game! Hope a meteor falls on that game.

Watching Clem/SC more closely! SC turns it over early.

Vandy already up 14-0 on Tenn! Could help IUs chances with a Tenn loss!
Vandy pulling a bit of a Georgia Tech. 17-17 pretty quickly. 6 minutes left first half.

All right. I'm usually not this cynical but Vanderbilt moving the ball into UT territory, but then called for a hold by the tight end on a first down 5 yard end around. I watched it several times and can't see a hold. They had contact then the defender easily got off it to go after the run. No grab. What a rip. Drive stalled. Punting.

So if Michigan beats OSU, or even plays them tough all the way to the end with a narrow loss. Does it help us, hurt us, a wash?
I can't keep up, but... if MI wins, that would put PSU in the championship game vs. OR, would it not? (assuming both win) Then a PSU loss would give them two losses, and we would have just the one... no idea what that would do to our CFP seeding.

South Carolina and Vanderbilt doing IU no favors today. Maybe Syracuse can come through.

I wanted Clemson to get beat. Northwestern to win.

No game I'm watching is going the way I hoped. Not sure if Ohio State losing makes us look worse to the committee either, with their BS made up criteria.

I guess it's too awesome to see O$U lose, so rooting for Michigan here. Need a drive. Still tied.

If OSU would have won, I think it clinches us a playoff birth. Now I have no idea what is going to happen. We could sneak into the BIG championship and that could HURT our playoff chances with another loss, imagine that. A PSU vs Oregon BIG championship, with a two loss OSU could also keep us out of playoffs. I have no idea what is going to happen.

One of the committee members said that every power 5 championship participant should get an automatic bid for the playoff! They were talkn about Georgia though, which should be the same for IU!
