OT: The unbelievable state of "student" athletes

Only a very few athletes in a few sports can say this. My daughter is a college volleyball player and a straight A nursing major. She was all conference but she (and I) were much happier when she was announced as an academic all American. Would love to see if Cardale writes his own papers or takes his own tests. His Grammar was at a third grade level at best in his Tweet. The OSU must be proud.

I remember when he tweeted that a couple years ago...
didn't shock anyone that Urban was recruiting a kid like that....given his player's history at Florida. On the other hand though...seems like Cardale Jones has grown up quite a bit since that day.
I wouldn't hold what a 18-22 year kid says on social media as gospel though....most in that age range make mistakes (as did I). Part of growing up.

Urban dealt with him and the young man has been a lot more mature since. He was asked what Urban told him after the incident. He replied that he was told to straighten up or he would not be around.
