Interested to see who people like with the Pacers 1st and 2nd round picks this year. It's a deep draft where some of the 2nd rounders could turn out to be pretty good. Larry Bird was interviewed a couple days ago and he mentioned PG, SG and PF are all needed. He indicated if they keep the pick they may draft the best available player. I'm also taking into consideration that Vogel and Bird have gone on record about playing a little faster and there may be scenarios where they put PG at the 4 spot.
That being the case, choose your plan A,B & C for the 1st and 2nd round
1st round A - Myles Turner (has potential to play the 3,4 and 5)
1st round B - WCS (He can defend the 3,4 & 5. Limited offensively to date)
1st round C - Jerian Grant (love his size at PG)
2nd round A - Oliver Hanlan (Another PG with length)
2nd round B - Rashad Vaughn (Nice upside and length at SG)
2nd round C - Rakeem Christmas (Has the size and athleticism to be a solid PF if he puts in the work)
Anyone else want to give this a go?
