I do know that the guy, J.T Ibe, who was kicked off the Panthers squad the other day for injuring a fellow teammate with a hit to the head, was extended an IU offer back in 2018 as a transfer from Rice. He opted to play instead at South Carolina. Ended up an un-drafted free agent with the Saints and then signed with Carolina.
