Florida beat FCS opponent Samford which came into the game with a 3-5 record, but their defense gave up 52 points including 42 points in the first half, and Samford had 530 yards of total offense. The Gators offense scored plenty though in a game that ended up in their favor, 70-52. The Gators just fired their DC and OL coach.
