Yeah, the pregame made it obvious this was intended as a dev league, not expecting to compete with the NFL. Good deal for guys chasing the dream, or just playing for the love of the game.

I don't think the NFL is involved and wonder they will like all the "dev for NFL" and "NFL is watching these kids" chatter as many will infer they are connected.

They also need to take care of the QBs, they are getting smoked.

The development league for the NFL is CFB. Your body can only take so many hits. Sure there will be players that come from this league but it’s not going to be a feeder system for the NFL. Arena League and the CFL have been around for a long time. This won’t change anything.
