I've posted Vic's shooting while at IU, now all the Apologists will say he did this on his own, but facts are facts.

Sorry those numbers are hard to read, here is Watfords 3 point %'s at Iu'
Frosh: 32%
Soph: 38%
Junior: 44%
Senior: 48%

No, hes saying Vic magically improved, in season in one year despite the stats he posted, and Crean's recruits having very low bball IQ, hustle, and effort is all on Archie.

So I guess you are saying Archie needs 4-5 years so guys like Phin, Franklin, Race, Hunter, DA can improve their shooting .pct. when they are upperclassmen.

He's had Devonte Green for 3 years let's look at his stats

I'm saying Archie don't improve shooting, lets pull up some Dayton stats

Utter nonsense shoots pineapples with a machinegun.

During Miller's first year we had veteran guards Johnson and Newkirk. They were pounded on this board. We were assured (by people here), that just by having them leave we would be an improved shooting team.

For the following year we added Romeo and Fitzner, two one and done players that people thought could really help us. Optimism for improved shooting was high. I think people expected Fitzner to fall into the Max Bielfeltd role, but that didn't pan out. Romeo had a solid year, but was also nicked up, hurting his shot. We had some other injuries. Green went off at the end of the season.

Coming into this season optimism was again high for improved shooting, though some were concerned that we hadn't added enough. Still, people expected us to be a better shooting team, through better health and player development. We've been pretty healthy. Yes, Rob has had some nagging injuries, but what conference team hasn't had some injuries? Green is notoriously streaky, so it's too early to know how things turn out for him. We really just need someone to make a massive jump out of Anderson and Hunter. And we need Rob to play like he played to start the OSU game.

I'm saying Archie don't improve shooting, lets pull up some Dayton stats

Kyle Davis, improved his shooting every year he was with Archie

Josh Cunningham, improved when he transferred to play for Archie

Sam Miller improved his freshman to sophmore years under Archie

John Crosby improved from freshman to sophomore year as well under Archie

Not everyone had there profiles updated on ESPN so I couldn't check to see who had progressed. I only checked the 2016-2017 season and clicked on there roster and checked the guys who had played 10 minutes or more by the way, which was 10 players (2 players didn't have any stats from that year).

as a team Dayton shot for shit with lil Archie go look it up 45% on average.

That guy is full of crap Archie's teams did not shoot well, I'm trying to make that point but some people refuse to be educated.

Okay, I did.

2016-2017 season, they shot 47% from the field and 39% from 3. The year Archie left, they shot 48% from the field and 34% from 3. The following year, they bumped it up to 50% and 33% from 3.

I'm failing to see how they've had superior shooting teams since Archie left.

Anybody who was optimistic that our shooting would improve this season over last is nuts. I sure never thought that. Why in the world would it have improved when we added zero shooters to a terrible shooting team? Just assuming guys will suddenly learn how to shoot over the summer is extremely nieve.

It likely won't be better next season either because again, we're not adding any true shooters to the team...... at least not yet.

Except they haven’t improved.

You’re living in reality though. Many here don’t.
