Personally, I'd like about 5 more rides to give, but this isn't the SEC and as far as we know, the IU compliance office hasn't messed up and told Coach Wilson the incorrect amount of scholarships he's got to offer this season.
So...if memory serves me well (and that's a big question), Walker, McRay, Meminger, Covington, and Walton were all late additions.
So IU has two scholarships left. I'm pleased with the class overall and how highly it's ranked. I anticipate some slippage in the ratings as some top level kids commit to schools rated around us. But this class is a nice addition to what they have.
So who's going to get the last two scholarships?
I'd love to add Jamal Milan, but I don't think it's going to happen. Secondly, if thee is a position that IU has a lot of players, it's defensive line. But I'd love to add Patrick to the receiver corps because of the inconsistency in play last season. Patrick can add skill, size and experience to a lineup desperate for both. Sudfeld will be a senior and he needs better play at wideout than he got last yr. I loved Terez hall's film. He's perfect for the defense. He's also in demand by some top end schools.
I liked the little I saw of Thadd Daniels has size and seems to have some potential. Ogletree is quick and may be a good addition, but IU seems to be waiting on grades.
So who do I think it will be?
My prediction is Patrick and Daniels. What do you think?
