I was killing time thinking of some of the best players I ever saw in person play against IU.
Informal list. These guys weren't necessarily ALL NFL super dupers. Just the best college guys I saw play. Not all positions. I'm not going with OL or DL or linebackers. Too many to choose from.
So I'm going "glamour positions"
QB.
1. Chuck Long Iowa Watched him throw for 4 gazillion miles against IU one day.
2. Drew Brees That school up north.
3. Jim Harbaugh Michigan Made the single best throw I saw. Running to his left and throwing about 50 yards on a line for a TD.
RB.
1. Tim Biakabatuka Michigan. Oh what a beautiful runner. Just poetry.
2. Lorenzo White MSU. Would have broken the NCAA single game record except George Perles pulled him after one series in the third quarter. Might STILL be running.
3. Kijana Carter PSU... Incredible. Knee injury killed his pro career.
