Hoosiers were 4-0 and ranked 22nd. Game ended in a 27-27 tie.

A fun watch, with Green, Dunbar, and Turner on offense. This is the full game, with commercials, so it’s about 3 1/2 hours. Some of the commercials are hilarious, and the halftime show features a younger, yet still old, Lee Corso...

A hold in the interior of the line with just over a minute left overturned a Dunbar score from 6 yards out.
Amazing to see the transformation in the passing game over the course of 28 years of college football. Some, of those play calls would draw outrage today.

Thought it a garbage call then and always will... The same Big Ten refs didn't call the holds where our opponent had handfuls of our jersey with their arms outstretched (in other games [Iowa stands out]). Delanys minions have screwed us over for decades...

For this week: 1991 Bucket victory over Purdue (tv commentary starts a few minutes in)...

Turner was a beast......I remember seeing him in the North-South HS game that year. You could tell he would be a star. For a school with such a difficult football history we have had more than our share of big-time WRs.

I just have to laugh when I think of that game.....we had no business beating BYU
It was fate. BYU students were never going to properly celebrate a bowl victory, but those of us at IU at the time knew exactly what to do. The biggest winner of that game was the alcoholic beverage industry.
