Were the officials from the Big 10 or 12? Didn’t really help IU but if some of Dickinson’s moving screens would have been called the outcome might have been different. Not blaming the loss on them.

Refs always favor the better programs. Bluebloods get the calls. Also-rans are on the short side of the stick in games like today.

They knew who the ranked and experienced team was, and called it that way. We need guys to drive and force contact and FTs.

They were calling fouls when there wasnt one and not calling them when they were obvious. Its in all sports now, they are not impartial nor able to do the job that they are paid there to do. And its a job that no matter how bad you are at doing nothing will ever come of it. And it seems each year they go from bad to worse. Not one game have I watched this year and thought that the officials did a good job. Many games I watch I really dont care who wins or looses and Im astonished how one team ends up with most of the calls going their way. Is it by design? Sure looks like that to me. And one bad call can change the momentum that a team has established. How does a player just shrug off bad calls and then get hammered and play on without it effecting his game. But the real killer is the official standing with an unimpeded view of the play right in front of him and make the wrong call. Is it by design? Or is he really that bad. We played good enough to win just as kansas did today. And we did some really stupid stuff and so did they. But the officials stunk as they always do and we could not overcome our errors and theirs.

Always some excuse, huh? If Woody had, in any way, matched Self's adjustments, the poor officiating wouldn't have mattered.

Refs weren’t great, IU lost their composure down the stretch and the better and more experienced team executed. Simple as that.

Their two guards carried the ball on every single possession. Dickinson set illegal screen after illegal screen. Still not sure how the dude with 4 fouls played the last 10 minutes without getting number 5 and ended up shooting 15 or 16 FTs. Never mind the most egregious call of the game that they actually reviewed, signaled wrong, reversed the signal, and still got it wrong. Total shitshow effort all game long.
