This game on Saturday at 3:45 will be a fun one. Butler can hit from 3-point range. Their guards are upperclassmen.

Jorgensen is the scoring leader at just over 17 ppg hitting 43% of his 3s...and doesn't make TOs. Baldwin gets 16.6 ppg with 42% of his 3s. McDermott hits 41.5% of his 3s...and makes 12 ppg.

Jordan Tucker, Duke transfer, may play his first game for Butler.

Butler doesn't play fast. They take care of the ball. It will be a halfcourt game for them.

Butler likes to play defense and they foul a lot. I has to extend the defense to stop their 3s.

IU's defense will stop Butler. Butler's defense will stop IU. If IU rules inside and Butler can't hit from out, IU wins by 10.

If Butler starts hitting from downtown Circle City then Archie just might have to suit up.

I think this game will tell us much more about the Coach as opposed to the team. Obviously, the team must execute but Archie has had an entire week to prepare and put together a plan to defeat Butler. I believe Archie is up to the task. This game is not a season breaker but it could be a season maker given the confidence and momentum a big win could bring.

There is no reason this Butler team should beat Indiana, this isn't a great Butler team. IU has better players at almost every position, if we lose this game it's going to be very disappointing.

Some people need to realize this isn't a Crean coached team anymore. If Archie is the guy we're hoping he is then he needs to he able to pull off these types of games. I think he gets it done.

May have some more talented players but not as much experience and in close games experience seems to win. To win this game IU will have to defend the three and stay out of foul trouble. Do that and we win. Seems like we always let one guy have a career afternoon and i think this will be another one of those games. Just have a feeling Romeo will go off as well though. Baby steps but damn.... we'll have taken another step as a program when all our fans expect us to beat Butler.

Glad to see Archie embracing being back in the Top 25 and understanding as a program we need to expect that.

If our guards can harass and close out on theirs like we did against Marquette, with no major inside threats or size advantages like recent teams we’ve been facing, I like our chances. Devonte and Al need to show up big in this one on D, along with our freshmen duo! IU 74 - Butler 66.

I think Juwan has learned his lessons about early foul trouble so far this season as evidenced by last game when on a couple occasions in the first half I saw him noticeably pull back to allow a Louisville player to finish at the rim when he wasn’t in great position to defend and also on offensive rebound/over the back situations. If he can stay out there, I expect him to have a season’s best performance. It would be great not to be pacing the living room floor for the final half, but I seem to instinctively do it regardless

Yeah, I still believe when we are at our best Deron will end up in our starting 5 to give us a legit post presence and consistent 3rd scoring option and be able to guard the other team's 5. I think that puts too much stress on Morgan and accounts for his foul trouble and probably wears him out more too.

For me the interesting thing will be to see if our D has progressed to the point that we can get out and guard the perimeter against a good shooting team. It might take me years to get over ISU and Ft Wayne, and I think good perimeter shooters are always going to be the Achilles heel of the pack line, but we do have longer athletes and ones that CAM recruited so this will be a good test. If we can do that, I think we win and maybe fairly easily.

It’s just a prediction. I think IU is the better team but Butler is due for a big game.

I'm going to keep lobbying for a starting five of: JM, DD, RL and RP... with a 5th of ZM or AD. I tend to like ZM, but maybe AD if it's a more guard oriented team. I think maybe play DD in a rotation of about 5 minutes in and 5-8 minutes of rest. Be great if we could get to the point that he could give us 20-25 mins per game. I think it would help our slow starts and hopefully avoid fouls piling up on JM. I think DD will accumulate fouls regardless, but really feel he gives us our most reliable 3rd scoring option and would help anchor the paint.
