Cubs are going to get their azz kicked tonight.Early 1-0 lead for the F'n Cards...
If the home plate ump gives Lackey that much of the plate east and west it's going to be a long night for the Cubs.
I meant to include a caveat - asshat Red's fans that can't foment a cogent thought with the two cells they call a brain need not participate. I was thinking of Mac when I thought that, but I guess you fit the bill....

Meh. I fear a pitchers duel favors the Cards.Lester got the call off the plate on the outside corner, so as long as the plate is calling it both ways, then I'm all good.
Yeah, could be.Meh. I fear a pitchers duel favors the Cards.
I think he's been pretty consistent, but it DEFINITELY favors Lackey. This home plate ump sucks ballz. The strike zone is getting wider, on some of the pitches, but not other. Especially the outer half to right hand hitters. That favors Lackey.
No, he's not been consistent. He calls the outside corner based on a whim, evidently. I've counted at least six pitches that he's called a strike, that he's also called a ball. I think he's influenced by the moment; more inclined to call the corner for a 3rd strike than in other counts.I think he's been pretty consistent, but it DEFINITELY favors Lackey.
He showed some vulnerability though. Schwarber Bryant Rizzo next inning.
Okay let me rephrase. Not consistent, but Lester is getting the same calls at the same rate. He just doesn't use it enough. That pitch is in Lackey's wheelhouse. No, he's not been consistent. Take a seat Peralta, you effing roid monkey.

Suck it Cubs fans and everyone else that can't get behind this incredible team.F'n Cards. F'n ump. F'n Strop. F'n Cubs.
Piscotty is very likable, but that's only because he hasn't been a Card long enough.I like Piscotty. Strop is turrible. If he doesn't get the first slider across, he's done.
Giant strike zone favored Lackey over Lester. This is fact.Definitely the umps. The 100+ year conspiracy against the Cubs continues...
