For those who didn't see this when I posted it earlier this week...
I had sticker shock when I looked at the vacation
packages offered on the Maui Invitational website, as they were all
over $2,000 per person (double occupancy required and without airfare).
This led me to check to see what I could reserve through my
timeshare, and was happy to learn that there was availability at the
Kaanapali Beach Club which is a beautiful resort 5 minutes from the
Lahaina Civic Center. So I went ahead and booked a couple extra
reservations for 1 Bedroom Oceanview Condos.
One is for 5
nights (Sunday-Friday) and the other is for 4 nights (Sunday-Thursday).
The tournament runs Monday-Wednesday. These units can comfortably
accomodate 4 guests, and I have stayed there several times before and
love it.
I am asking $825 for the 4 night reservation or $1050
for the 5 night reservation (or best offer). There may be a $10/Nt
parking fee but no other room taxes or anything like that apply. No
timeshare presentation is necessary either
