Got to agree with you on this. Maybe time to stop posting it each year. Plenty of hate in our world without this added.I am certainly all for beating Purdue decisively and convincingly even more so to secure our deserved place in the college football playoff.
Mr. Dyer’s comments, however, are coarse, profane, and disgusting. It would have been better to have left it in the locker room … Hopefully, he displays more maturity now.
I certainly would not want some things I said in college saved for posterity; let alone cited as praiseworthy!
After getting his degree at IU, he went on to get a Masters degree. Has held various positions at his current employer for 18 years. I think he's not worried about it getting brought up every year or being available through a Google search.I am certainly all for beating Purdue decisively and convincingly even more so to secure our deserved place in the college football playoff.

Man isnt that the truth. I don’t even let my boys wear blue clothes. Only the farmers down here are Purdue fans. And we all gotta eat.He was from far Southern Indiana, on the Ohio River i believe. As a fellow Ohio River rat, Purdue didn't even register with us; Kentucky was the main rival. That's the truth...
Kentucky was the main rival, I don't think people believe that. From Seymour south, it's just the way it was. Purdue wasn't on the radar for many people in Southern Indiana.Man isnt that the truth. That may depend on where in southern Indiana. I grew up in Evansville. With Bob Griese coming from there and going to Purdue they were certainly on the radar there. But that might have been a little before your time. 😊Kentucky was the main rival, I don't think people believe that. From Seymour south, it's just the way it was. Lawrenceburg, I believe.Definitely the most ballsy interview an Indiana athlete has ever given. He then backed it up with a victory...seems like Cignetti's kind of guy!!
