So I never bet on games unless I happen to be in a sports book and am watching a game. But if a guy wanted to put a hundred or 2 on the odds for a team to win the NC next year, how would you go about it? I've googled it, but am always leery of the returned matches online and I figured there are some folks here who might have suggestions, valid or otherwise.

Any of the online gambling apps will have those odds for the 23 CBB Champs. I use the Draft Kings and FanDuel sportsbook apps, but there's Caesar, BetMGM and plenty of others.

But let's say you hypothetically happen to have a son making a cross country trip with plans to stop in Vegas, I guess he could just make a bet there in one of their sports books, correct? I guess if you won you'd have to go back there to redeem it though, correct?
Doesn't look like sports gambling is legal in NC. I thought that had changed, but I guess they were just considering it.
Just make sure he keeps the ticket from the bet and you have the perfect excuse for an all expenses paid (via your winnings) trip to Vegas if you win.
Way back before Uber was a thing, I shared a taxi with a guy who had hit big. His return flight was a just a few hours he'd landed. He wasn't going to stick around and let the casino take it all back, so he was flying in and out on the same day to cash the ticket.
