I don't know if there's much to read into this so far. The USFL draft is a tough choice of kids that they don't expect to get onto an NFL roster via draft or UDFA because they don't want to blow picks on kids who won't sign with them.

So, if none of our top prospects get drafted by the USFL, I'd wager that gives them an above average chance of at least getting NFL camp invites.

Seems like it would be smarter to have their draft after the NFL draft.
