I’d agree with the OP about Woody getting another pre-Cigs, but since Cigs’ hire/success, I think Woody does not return unless IU wins the B10 and a minimum Sweet 16 run. I don’t see either of those happening. I’m sure Dolson is privately working on his Project Replace Woody game plan.

Dolson just hit a HR w the Cignetti hire and extension.

His attention is now squarely on IU bball, as he must be hearing about it nonstop even w all the football success.

HR on the hire, the extension is TBD. Crean had some early success & got a fat extension & you see how that turned out. I just hope Cig doesn't turn out to be the same results.

I hope you are right but 6 million to the cooks and simons is like 5 bucks to you and me. I think as long as the money buys them access to the coach I doubt they care all that much. If they did they would have never bailed Woodson out for this season. They would have helped pay to get rid of him. The writing was already on the wall about his coaching.

When you family has owned a professional team since 1983, you don't pay for access to CMW. He's not the big deal, it's their love of IUBB. And millions still matter regardless of how much you have.

If they were really pissed off Woodson would be fired now.

With these two losses we’re going to struggle with NET and Kenpom numbers to get in big dance and good seeding.
