I saw some guys wearing red jerseys on Saturday who looked pretty daunted. Kohl Center is kryptonite for IU bball.
Which one of those teams will go unbeaten and win the whole thing?
One loss does not ruin the season. There are reasons for each loss.
First real road game for this young team. Yes, everyone one wants to win each game. Not going to happen. Let this season play out, see where IU lands in the tourney, and if IU makes it to the second weekend, then we can judge this team. Just enjoy watching this team grow with each game.
I don’t believe they will run off another 12 losses in a row as of now. Let’s just chill.
So you basically just said iu is for sure making the tourney? . I'm confused cause you said we cannot judge this team until they make the sweet sixeteen. So if we miss the tourney we are not allowed to judge them. Im just trying to understand when and if im ever allowed to be critical.
And for the umpteenth time its not so much that they lost, its how and by how much they lost.

Why do you get so unhinged every time there is a comment critical of IU basketball? You are right, it’s just a game. But looking at the big picture It is reasonable for a FAN to post criticism of the program. In fact, based on where the program was 20 years ago it is very reasonable to see how someone could post only negative things about our program.
that doesn’t make that person less of a fan. It doesn’t mean that they want IU to lose tonight.
The BT hasn’t won a national title in 20 years, and over those 20 years where have we been in that conference? Bottom third? Middle of the pack?
If UNC suddenly misses 7 of 11 NCAA tournaments you don’t think they’ll have fans that think their program is a dumpster fire? Would that mean they weren’t fans, or wanted to lose?

The loss Saturday was bad because of how it happened. Our play and effort was lacking. Lack of effort is alarming. Getting beat by 30 and then eventually losing by 20 against an above average (maybe average) Wisconsin team is simply bad.
Not playing away from Assembly Hall in the first 8 games of the year and then the first road contest is against a Big Ten foe is ridiculous.
Does this one loss define this team? I hope not and don’t believe so. I’m still going to watch tonight and cheer on the Hoosiers.
But I must admit I thought we were a 50/50 tournament team in the preseason. I hope we are better than that but I’m honestly not sure.
