17th by Kinser Pike. There was a liquor store that shared the building. A football player backed into my car in the parking lot. Neither one of us wanted the police involved. He gave me his driver’s license & said to take it to Coach Mallory’s office on Monday. Secretary told me to get an estimate & bring it back. When I did, she got an envelope full of cash out of her desk & paid me…🤣

Yep. The best party I ever attended at IU was at Jackson Heights the night IU destroyed UCLA to go to the final 4. Several players there later in the evening. Not long after I lost a cooler in a fire there I had left at an apartment. I lived at Hoosier Courts…
