I hope you're right.Frost should have stayed ar UCF. They will probably join a bigger conf at some point. Neb is going to be a tough job to get back the old glory.
Their defense gave up fewer than 300 yards today (253 to be exact) and 12 first downs. They weren’t the problem at all. Turnovers, penalties (10, for 77 yards) and special teams beat them, not defense. They'll try to put this all on their Walk-On QB but their defense (or lack of) is the bigger problem. Can't say I'm shedding any tears for them...

I realize they gave up that one big play, but their defense was otherwise very good. Anyone in the known world who saw the game would agree. You don't give up a 26 yard run up the middle for a TD (in the 3rd, only down by a point) and say you're playing good defense... At least the rest of the known world doesn't...

On the other hand, I thought IU’s defense was quite good today yet they gave up a 27 yard TD run. Isolating one play to make a general statement usually doesn’t work out so well, does it?

So you claimed Nebraska’s defense was the “bigger problem” today, but you then admit you didn’t even watch the game or know anything about it? That explains a lot.Worked out well enough that we won and they lost.
I watched the INDIANA game. All I'm using is the game summary.
All I can tell you is that if Nebraska's D played as well as you infer "when it mattered" (down only by one point in the third quarter), they wouldn't have let the guy beat them with a 26 yard run.
When INDIANA gave up their TD the game was all but decided (as you already knew)...
Was just pointing out the folly of the poor argument attempting to be made.2nd team defense was in.

Overweight quarterback? You’re trying too hard to cover yourself. You already admitted you didn’t see the game or know anything about it. Why not just leave it at that?Just watched a clip of what appeared to be an overweight, relatively slow, Troy quarterback running for 30+ yards for a TD "early" against that vaunted NE defense of yours. That and the run up the gut (when it really mattered) against their 1st team defense beat NE. You should have known that since you watched it...
You're in for a real quandary when Nebraska plays pu.
My, oh my, who will you root for...?!????(DWS)

I’m about only commenting on games that I actually saw. You?Just saw the clip. Looked out of shape to me. What's that say about the NE defense.
Just head back to GBI... Everyone knows what you're really all about..
You're right he's back where he belongs...Stop feeding the troll.
Iowa is going to win the West. Already called it weeks ago.Really hate to see UN so far down... only team to give Bucky a run for their money in the west. Tired of seeing Wiskyburg in the BT championship game every year.
Well that run was against a bunch of non-startersI realize they gave up that one big play, but their defense was otherwise very good. Anyone in the known world who saw the game would agree.

The issue was that the poster was commenting on the specifics of a game he didn’t see. He got mad when I pointed that outWell that run was against a bunch of non-starters
