TEAM
• Indiana is 11-9-3 all-time against Nebraska.

• Indiana started a season 7-0 for the second time in program history (1967). IU also started the 1945 season at 6-0-1.

• A 4-0 start in Big Ten play marked the fourth time in program history an Indiana team started with an unblemished mark through four conference games (4-0, 2020; 4-0, 1987; 5-0, 1967).

• With his seventh win, head coach Curt Cignetti sits tied for No. 2 in wins by an IU head coach in his first full season with Bill Lynch (7; 2007). He is behind only James M. Sheldon (8; 1905) for wins by a first-year head coach.

• The seven-game winning streak is the longest streak since an eight-game stretch during the 1967 season (Week 1-8).

• Through Week 8, Indiana is the only FBS program to not allow a first quarter point in 2024.

• One Hoosier transfer made his first start at Indiana to bring the total to 15 transfers to make a start in 2024: RB Justice Ellison.

• Two Hoosiers made their first-career starts to push the season total to six IU players to make a first-career start: DB Bryson Bonds, LB Rolijah Hardy.

• Indiana's rushing touchdown in the first quarter was the first rushing score allowed by Nebraska's defense all season. IU finished with five rushing scores in the game.

• With 215 yards rushing, Indiana snapped a streak of 13-straight games in which Nebraska didn't allow a 200-yard rushing game (249; Michigan, 2023). The 215 yards were more than double what the Huskers had allowed on average entering the game (84.2 ypg).

• Indiana's opening drive touchdown was its fourth score on the opening series of the season.

• Indiana scored 40-plus points in its sixth-straight game to extend its own program record.

• With its double-digit win, Indiana extended its longest streak of double-digit wins in program history at seven-straight games.

• The 28 rushing touchdowns are the most in a season since 2014 (29; 12 games).

• Since 1996, Indiana has produced three games with five-or-more rushing touchdowns in just three seasons. The 2024 edition joins the 2001 and 2000 teams, who each had three games with five-plus rushing scores.

• Had a 79-yard interception return when he picked off Dylan Raiola at the Indiana 2-yard line in the third quarter.

Kaelon Black | RB | R-Jr.
• Scored on a 10-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter.

Bryson Bonds | DB | R-Jr.
• Tied a career-high four tackles. He last reached the mark at Ohio State in 2022.

Lanell Carr Jr. | DL | Sr.+
• Tied a career-high five tackles. He has reached the mark two other times, most recently in Week 2 against Western Illinois (9/6).

Miles Cross | WR | Sr.
• Had a 2-yard touchdown reception on a pass from Tayven Jackson in the third quarter.

Justice Ellison | RB | Sr.+
• Made first start at Indiana and 21st of his career.
• Ran nine times for 105 yards and two touchdowns and is the first opposing running back to reach 100-yards rushing in a game since Iowa's Kaleb Johnson rushed for 109 yards in 2022.
• His two rushing scores marked six consecutive weeks with a touchdown. The last Hoosier with six-straight weeks is Tevin Coleman in 2014 (Week 1, 3-7), which was part of a 15-game streak that spanned the 2013-14 seasons.
• It was Ellison's fourth career 100-yard game and his second as a Hoosier.
• Produced third-career game with multiple rushing touchdowns and second as a Hoosier.

Aiden Fisher | LB || Jr.
• Fisher's 11 tackles marked the seventh time in his career he has recorded 10-plus tackles and third time as a Hoosier.

Elijah Green | RB | R-Jr.
• Found the end zone on a 1-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter.
• He has scored a touchdown in five of Indiana's seven games.

Rolijah Hardy | LB || Fr.
• Made his second career interception when he picked off Dylan Raiola at the Nebraska 25-yard line in the fourth quarter. His first came in Week 2 against Western Illinois (9/6).

Tayven Jackson | QB | R-So.
• Went 7-for-8 with 91 passing yards with a career-high two touchdowns passes.

Jamier Johnson | DB | R-Jr.
• Hauled in his first career interception when he picked off Dylan Raiola at the Indiana 49-yard line in the third quarter.

Terry Jones Jr. | DB | R-Sr.
• Brought Dylan Raiola down for a sack on a 2-yard loss in the third quarter. It was his first sack as a Hoosier and his first since 2022 against Arkansas State.

Mikail Kamara | DL | R-Jr.
• Strip-sacked Dylan Raiola for a loss of nine yards and a forced fumble. He also recovered the fumble at the Indiana 15-yard line.
• The forced fumble was his sixth of his career and second as a Hoosier. The last came against FIU in Week 1 (8/31).
• Owns at least one tackle in all 30 career appearances.
• Has at least a half a tackle for loss in 27 of 30 career games.

Ty Son Lawton | RB || R-Sr.+
• Ran for a 1-yard touchdown in the second quarter. He has scored in six of Indiana's seven games.

Jacob Mangum-Farrar | DL | R-Sr.+
• His fumble recovery at the Indiana 12-yard line in the first quarter was the first of his career. Jailin Walker forced the fumble from Nebraska's Dante Dodwell.

Daniel Ndukwe | DL | Fr.
• Made his first career tackle when he assisted Jeff Utzinger in bringing down Barrett Liebentritt in the fourth quarter.

Nicolas Radicic | K | R-Fr.
• Radicic's eight extra points puts him at No. 4 in the single-season extra points made chart. He passes No. 6 Mitch Ewald (42; 2012), Pete Stoyanovich (45; 1988) and Logan Justus (45; 2019).

Kurtis Rourke | QB | R-Sr.+
• Had a 17-for-21 passing day with 189 yards and a touchdown.
• He now ranks No. 22 on the program's single-season passing list with 1,941 yards passing Dave Schnell (1,877; 1988), John Paci (1,796; 1983), Babe Laufenberg(1,788; 1981) and Antwaan Randle El (1,783; 2000).
• With his 15 passing touchdowns, Rourke now is tied with Cameron Coffman (15; 2012), Tre Roberson (15; 2013), Richard Lagow (15; 2017), Brendan Sorsby (15, 2023) for the most touchdowns in a single season in program history.

Myles Price | WR | Sr.+
• Had a 7-yard touchdown reception on a pass from Kurtis Rourke in the second quarter. It was Price's first receiving score as a Hoosier.

Elijah Sarratt | WR | Jr.
• Connected with Tayven Jackson on a 15-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter.
• Moved his consecutive games with a catch streak to 32-straight games on his 28-yard reception in the second quarter.

Jeff Utzinger | LB | R-So.
• Had a career-high two tackles.

Jailin Walker | LB | Sr.
• Forced a fumble when he stripped Dante Dodwell on 4th-and-1 at the Indiana 12-yard line. Jacob Mangum-Farr recovered it to protect the team's 7-0 lead in the first quarter.
• It was Walker's fifth career forced fumble and his first as a Hoosier.
