As we were watching Indiana absolutely drill Nebraska, I noticed a man in a track suit walking up the isle to the young couple sitting behind us. He introduces his self as Uncle Tony and that Rourke would be out several weeks.

This guy had probably 10k worth of gold jewelry on and was a curious person to say the least. Rourke had not been out of the game long at all, not even 20 minutes.

It seems like he was VERY connected to something or someone...I should've taken his photo without him knowing, lol. I wish I knew what his thoughts were on tomorrow's game!!

Was it The Capper or Tony Soprano!!??

The network of "Uncle Tony's" out there is what fuels Vegas to being "right" as much as they are. And to react to things like that seemingly in real time. The in game spread dropped almost immediately after he came out of that game, before halftime. And that was well before he came back on the field in street clothes.

They don't always end up being right though. I bet there were a lot of pissed off "Uncle Tonys" when we continued on to beat them 56-7. In fact, I think IU has probably lost the "Uncle Tony" crowd a lot of money this season.

It was bizarre, just odd. I meant to share this a while back but forgot. He was in his 60s and very Italian...My son asked me who in the hell he was and I hadn't a clue.

How he knew the injury situation is wild!

@Rockport Zebra

RZ can tell you whether it was the Capper or not, but my guess is no. The Capper knows you don't wander around in public wearing 10k worth of jewelry unless you are planning on filing an insurance claim on 10k in jewelry that got stolen from you in the parking lot after the game.

The Capper is the Capper because you can't tell, at first glance, that he's the Capper. This is greasy hustler 101 stuff. They teach you that in greasy hustler school 2 minutes after they issue you your student ID. And your student ID is a well worn toothpick.

Someone needs to rewatch The Color of Money.
